Blok Wschodni

‘Blok Wschodni’ is a collection of illustrated paper cut-out models celebrating post-war modernist architecture in Warsaw, Poland. The series features iconic examples of functional architecture (Rotunda PKO), some less classic buildings, however, familiar to the city dwellers (Za Żelazną Bramą, Smolna 8, Mokotów), as well as ‘Wielka Płyta’ prefab panel blocks from the peripheries (Tarchomin). The collection is made up of five illustrated models to assemble and exhibits all kinds of original details present on the buildings` facades.

The whole set is Eco-friendly - printed on 100% recycled paper and cardboard, and includes a short technical note on the architects, year of construction and exact location of each building.
